Known for her grace, glamour, and musicality, Violette is an award-winning, internationally-featured Canadian burlesque performer who has been invited to perform on some of the world’s most prestigious and sought-after stages across North America and Europe. In 2023, Violette won the title of “Burlesque Monarch of Canada” at the Imperial Burlesque Canada competition in Montréal. In 2024, she won three awards at the most prestigious burlesque competition in the world, the Burlesque Hall of Fame’s Tournament of Tease in Las Vegas, including “Most Dazzling”, “Most Classic” and 1st Runner-Up Best Debut. Violette’s BHoF wins mark the first time since 2010 that a performer has won three awards in a single year on the BHoF stage!

A creator, dancer, and art director with a master’s degree in visual design—and currently working on her PhD in Performance Studies—Violette thrives in the arena of sensual live theatre creation. A self-proclaimed absurdist, hedonist, and naked philosopher (with a decadent cocktail obsession), Violette is the creator of The Two Coupe Society – a mix of a secret society, burlesque show, and cocktail club (stirred well, garnished with absurdity) and The Violette Underground, an immersive and intimate one-woman show, built to pop-up in cocktail bars. She regularly tours and produces sold-out shows under the banner of House of Hush Burlesque, which she co-founded in 2018.
